i've had some egg nog,
some gingerbread cookies,
i bought a bunch of presents,
i wrapped them,
i put out the holiday decorations,
i wrote up and mailed my christmas cards,
i received some cards,
i watched a charlie brown christmas--
twice,
and i still feel sad.
it just isn't christmas without a christmas tree,
so i'm going to go and get one tomorrow.
